Thus, Dubai is literally cut in two by "Dubai Creek";
on the western bank: the district of "Bur Dubai"...
on the eastern bank: districts of "Deira" and "Al-Ras"...
How do we cross from one side to the other?
The most authentic solution is certainly to take an "Abra",
a small picturesque and backfiring boat .
In spite of their apparent outdatedness, these Abra ensure continuous rotations between 4 stations located on the banks.
The price of one crossing: 0,5 Dirham (10 cents).
Another solution to cross:
a pedestrian tunnel (stifling, not for the claustrophobics!).
